PRKR Gains On Patent Infringement Case Reopening
As mentioned above, ParkerVision is having a strong start ot the trading week after news broke that a case the company filed against Apple, LG, and Qualcomm was reopened. The case surrounds alleged patent infringement. Don’t forget, the stock soared last last Summer after the company settled a patent infringement case it filed against Samsung.
On May 4th, PRKR filed a request to reopen the patent infringement case. This followed a ruling by ITC which terminated a similar case against the same defendants. Nonetheless, the Middle District of Florida court has ordered the reopening of the case and has ordered the involved parties to conduct a case management conference within the next 30 days.
