As mentioned above, TESARO wasn’t having the best of times in the market today. In fact, throughout the entire day, the stock has been trading in the red. However, at 3:23, the stock was halted with news pending, trading at $156.73 per share after a loss of $3.27 per share or 2.04%. We have found the pending news.

It looks like the halt is the result of the United States Food and Drug Administration making the decision to approve ZEJULA (niraparib) for the maintenance treatment of adults whoe are dealing with recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who are in complete or partial response to platinum-based chemotherapy.
